Understanding and Using UUIDs for Account Identification in Global Filters

Modified on Mon, 16 Jun at 7:21 AM

Summary:

This article explains the use of UUIDs as Account IDs introduced in the latest deployment and how to apply them in Global Filters for efficient data filtering.

Overview

As part of our latest deployment, each customer account is now associated with a unique identifier known as a UUID (Universally Unique Identifier). These UUIDs serve as Account IDs within the system, allowing for more precise and consistent identification of accounts across all modules.

Where to Find the UUID

You can view the UUIDs associated with each account in the respective sections of the platform. Please refer to the example screenshot below for guidance:

Validating Account IDs

We have verified that all Account IDs currently listed are correct. However, if you notice any discrepancies, please share the specific UUID or details with our support team so we can investigate further.

Using UUIDs in Global Filters

To filter by customer using UUIDs:

  1. Go to the Text Analytics or any relevant section of the platform.

  2. Open the Global Filter panel.

  3. In the Customer field, paste the UUID or enter the Customer Name.

  4. The results will update to reflect data associated with the selected account.

This allows you to quickly access sentiment, attention scores, and other metrics relevant to a specific customer.
