How to Set Up an OAuth Client in ServiceNow for SupportLogic

Introduction: 

This article provides step-by-step instructions for ServiceNow administrators to configure OAuth 2.0 authentication for SupportLogic. This guide covers the exact steps to register the application, configure the necessary parameters, and retrieve the required credentials.

       

         Create OAuth Client in ServiceNow:

  1. Go to: System OAuth → Application Registry.

  2. Click New, select “Create an OAuth API endpoint for external clients”. 

          Fill in OAuth Details:

           Name: SupportLogic

  • Redirect URL: https://lookup.supportlogic.io/connect/callback

  • Logo URL: https://www.supportlogic.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/sl-logo.svg

  • Click Submit

        Retrieve Credentials:

  • Open the newly created SupportLogic app

  • Click “Toggle Password Visibility” to reveal the Client Secret

  • Copy & share the Client ID and Client Secret with the SL Admin
