FAQ: ESX – Assignment Permissions & Behavior

Below are some of the common or frequent questions on Elevates' Assignments and their behavior:

1. Who Can Create Assignments in ESX?

Only users with the Manage Assignments permission can create, stop, delete, or clone assignments. These users also have access to the All Assignments tab.

2. Can Assignment Creation Be Restricted?

Yes. Assignment creation is already restricted by permission. Users without Manage Assignments cannot create or modify assignments they can only complete the reviews assigned to them.

3. Does This Apply to Auto QA and Manual QA?

• Auto QA runs automatically and does not require assignments.

• Manual QA, Calibration, and Grade the Grader (G2G) require assignments created by authorized users.
  
  

4. What Happens If No Manual QA Exists?

If a ticket has no Manual QA:

• Auto QA score will be used.

• Once a Manual QA review is completed (via an assignment), that Manual QA score becomes the final score.
