Updated Package Installment Steps

  1. Open the link (Package v1.20 URL) directly, or install from the App Exchange - 

    1. Sandbox (Test) link (Package v1.20 URL)

  2. Enter Username and Password for the salesforce Org. Once logged in, this install screen should show up, if installing for the first time. If they are updating from an older version, a similar screen will be shown prompting the user to update.


    3. Recommended to install for all users. If the customer wants to install only for select users, then they have to make sure those users have the right permissions to view the widgets post-installation.

    4. This screen below will show up if they are installing the version which is backwards compatible with the legacy plugin. Ask the users to grant access and proceed.



5 On selecting Checkbox and clicking on “Continue” the installation will begin as below:



6. And once done Successful Installation of package messages will come and you can cross check your installed package under.



7. Package:

                                SFDC plugin - SupportLogic_Connector is installed and shows up under Installed Packages


Post-Deployment Steps


1. In the quick search bar, type in Custom Settings (Setup - Build - Develop - Custom Settings; and go to that page. Scroll down the list and find the label called SL Configuration Settings. Click Manage next to it.

2. Add a new entry with the following values: 

  1. Location: SupportLogic (should be prefilled)

    Support Logic URL: https://iframe.(customer).supportlogic.io 

    iframe URL: https://iframe.(customer).supportlogic.io 


Check the "Use iframe" toggle

3. That should do it. If everything has been setup correctly, they will be able to see the iframe widget on the Case page, as shown here:
