How to Add an Email Address for Data Sync Alert Notifications in SupportLogic

Purpose

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure email alerts when a data sync delay is detected in your SupportLogic instance.


Summary

If there is a delay in data synchronization with your CRM, SupportLogic allows admins to configure alerts. These alerts can be sent via email to inform relevant stakeholders when data becomes stale. Each customer may have a different threshold (e.g., 45 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes) based on their configured settings.

Default alerting threshold is 60 minutes

User must be an admin to add recipients to the email notification. If you don't have access to add yourself, please reach out to our account champion. If you do not know your account champion, you can also reach out to the SupportLogic support, so we can guide you.

Steps to Add an Email Address for Data Sync Alert:

  1. Log in to the SupportLogic UI with admin privileges.

  2. Navigate to Settings:

    • Go to Settings → Alerts & Notifications → Data Sync Alert.

  3. Add Email Recipients:

    • Under “Send this alert to the following recipients via Email”, click inside the email field and enter the email addresses you wish to notify.

    • You can add multiple recipients (e.g., team aliases or individual users).

  4. Set Notification Frequency:

    • Use the “Repeat this notification every X minutes” setting to define how often the alert should repeat until the issue is resolved.

    • Default example: Every 15 minutes.
